NEW BEGINNINGS

This has taken me quite a while to decide, but I have started a new blog. It felt like I needed a new place to start, because, even though I love Highstreetheels/Celestial Sphere, it's filled with a lot of content that I just don't really feel fits me anymore, and I almost felt like it was kind of messy. I wanted to have a "clean slate", where I could start from the beginning and make something that I really like. I am still not completely finished with the new blog, but I can see where I want it to go, and that is a nice feeling to finally have. I really hope you guys will still want to follow me on Palette , which is where I will be blogging from now on! Looking forward to seeing you in there :)

P.S. I will leave Highstreetheels open for now. I still find it funny to go back in the archives and see how everything was three years ago, so I don't see any point in closing it down :) And you will also still be able to reach me on highstreetheels@gmail.com .

KARL

Ok, so still on my break, but I had to share this with you guys. The man is crazy, but he sure is funny too.

EASTER BREAK

I'm not a good blogger these days. I have a lot on my mind and a lot of projects going on, and I try to concentrate on that instead of posting more in here. I'm not finished with the blog, though, but I'm going to be away for just a little more. I think it'll be good, and when I get back, I'll also have a lot more to show you guys, especially a lot more creative stuff. Until then, I hope you guys will hang on, and I am looking forward to returning with more energy and better posts. Have a nice easter!

SPRING ITEMS

Clutch, dress, shirt and blouse - all from Monki, earring and sunglasses - Gina Tricot, perfume from Demeter and lipgloss from Cowshed.
I'm really happy that it's getting warmer and warmer outside every day. I would like to own all of these things, and I actually think that they could make a great outfit (in the layering style of the man repeller) although it might not be my usual style. Are you guys enjoying the nice weather outside? And what are you looking forward to wear?

DROP BY

I just wanted to drop by and tell you guys to have an awesome weekend!

EASTER EGG

I found these eggs all around London - they were a part of a charity project sponsored by Fabergé, and you were supposed to find all of the 40 eggs! I only found these though, but I love these kind of projects; all of the eggs were decorated by different artists and you had to text their "codes" to be a part of the competition. Each message also functioned as a donation, and I just really liked how the project involved the people of the city, while also contributing to the streets. Wish we had more like this in Copenhagen!

Picture from last summer
Hopefully I'll be able to look like this again soon. Looking forward to spring!

WARM

I'm like to experiment with light and shadows these days.

OLD DRAWINGS

I just found this drawing from when I went to Textilskolen. We were supposed to make something inspired from nature, and I chose mushrooms. I think it turned out pretty good - can you see the similarity if you look at something like this or this?

BLACK AND WHITE

Scented candle, black sugar and pyrite stone. All bought in London.

CRAVINGS

On a sunday like this I really crave something like this granola that I ate in London.

COOL STUFF

All from Coolstuff.dk
I often check out the webshop Coolstuff.dk - it's kind of geeky and silly, but that's what I like about it, and they have some really... well, yeah, cool stuff. These are some of the things I'd like in my home, especially the glass skull would be perfect, although I would probably fill it with something that wasn't red. Go check it out here!

DINOSAURS

One of my favourite places in London is the museum of natural history, and it never ceases to amaze me. We went early on a monday to avoid it being too crowded, and for once I got to see the dinosaur gallery without standing in line for ages. Animals and their skeletons really fascinate me, so although I've been there three or four times now, it was quite an experience. I would definitely recommend those of you who are going to London to visit it, they also have some other really interesting galleries, and you can read all about them here.

SHORTS

Shorts from H&M - blue ones 100 dkk (on sale), black/white ones 200 dkk
Looking forward to wearing these in two months or so! Maybe I'll even put on the black/white ones with tights one day soon. Do you like them?

LONDON

1. Liberty House - one of my favourite "stores" in London 2. Pret A Manger - probably my favourite place to eat in London 3. Cherry blossom trees 4. Sussex Gardens where our hotel was 5. Awesome street decorations 6. Cutest candystore 7. My favourite museum - Natural History museum
I had the best trip to London! Only it was a bit too short - the weather was so nice and all of the trees were flowering, so I really didn't want to go home. Hope I can get back there soon. Here's some pictures from the trip, but I'll write more on some of the things I saw in another post.

SUNGLASSES

Almost a month ago I wrote about these sunglasses that I got from Linda Farrow, and today I finally got to take a picture of them! I really like them, and it's so cool that they're vintage too.
